Dick & Jane Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway [closed]

A while back I had received a work-at-home-mom (WAHM) made cloth diaper and I am very happy reviewing a superbly handmade diaper today. I am a HUGE Etsy fan! And this is the first time I have seen and tried a handmade diaper.

I was sent an adorable rainbow stripe multicoloured all in one (AIO)/ all-in-two (AI2) one-size cloth diaper for review from Annie, the owner of Dick & Jane Cloth diapers Etsy shop. I think it would look great on either a boy or a girl. My first impression? CUTE & very well made!

The diaper features and outer cotton weave fabric with a rainbow stripe on a white background and matching good quality maroon snaps. White organic bamboo velour inner touches the baby’s skin. The diaper has a bamboo fleece inside as well as a layer of polyurethane laminate (PUL) for waterproofing, both these are hidden layers. It has a front-snapping closure with snap-down rise for adjustability and crossover snaps for the smallest fit on your baby. This diaper fits approximately 8-35 lbs.

The diaper comes along with two snap-in soakers that are sewn together and snapped to the bottom of the diaper. They are made of layers of bamboo fleece and bamboo velour. An additional booster insert with the diamond pattern is constructed of a highly absorbent material called “Zorb”, which consists of poly fibers and natural bamboo fibers.  which isn’t always required. It is sandwiched in between the two soakers to offer extra absorbency when needed. I have not used this booster much, but it is helpful for those times that you need a bit of extra absorbency for your baby.

The diaper was very absorbent, and I had no fit issues or leaks. I love that this diaper fits like a fitted yet works like an AIO with the hidden layer of waterproof PUL, so there is no need for a cover. I love the fit and the fine detail and the craftsmanship is absolutely impeccable. This is a well made diaper and it works wonderful.

My baby and I love Dick and Jane Diapers. Annie also makes fitteds and newborn fitteds. I love her selection of fabrics for the diapers. They are adorable and come in the prettiest assortment of prints.
